He began in the transportation industry as a courier himself, and in 1977, he and a partner founded Sky Courier Network, an international and domestic air express firm based in Reston, VA. In 1987, he sold Sky Courier and purchased the Washington metro area local courier operations of Sky Courier to form Washington Express. Since 1988, Washington Express has been one of the top local courier firms in the Washington DC Metro area, doing approximately 2,000 deliveries daily for more than a thousand business customers. |

Michael "Mike" MillerMember / Executive Vice PresidentMike Miller entered the courier industry in 1985 as a sales representative at Sky Courier Network. Mike then joined Gil Carpel at Washington Express, which was formed from the former Washington D.C. courier operations of Sky Courier, when Sky Courier was sold in 1987.
