Founded in 1981, Washington Express is the metro area’s largest courier service with offices in DC, Maryland and Virginia.

Born out of Sky Courier, a domestic and international air express firm (Sky Courier today is the air courier division of DHL/Deutsche Post), Washington Express formed from Sky's former local courier operations. Soon after, those operations then merged with another firm to form the current Washington Express. Today, we cover the Washington DC area with a fleet of 200 couriers.  Washington Express messengers handle more than 2,000 deliveries a day for hundreds of area businesses.
